Summary:
We
are seeking a Senior Hardware Testing Engineer to join our embedded IoT product
development team focused on vehicle telematics solutions. As a key contributor,
you will be responsible for validating and verifying hardware systems used in
connected vehicles. This includes hands-on testing of embedded electronics for
connectivity, diagnostics, and data acquisition. The role emphasizes practical
testing, debugging, and reliability assessment in lab and field environments.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed test plans for
telematics hardware systems including GPS, cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and
sensor interfaces.
- Perform functional,
environmental, and reliability testing under real-world operating
conditions (temperature, vibration, humidity, etc.).
- Conduct RF performance testing
and ensure compliance with relevant EMI/EMC standards.
- Use lab instruments such as
oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and multimeters for
signal and power validation.
- Collaborate with hardware
design and validation teams to support debugging and root cause analysis.
- Document test results, maintain
traceability, and generate validation reports for internal and external
stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews
and provide feedback from a testing and reliability perspective.
- Coordinate
with external labs for certification and compliance testing as needed.
Required
Qualifications:
- B.E/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic
Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in
hardware testing for embedded IoT or Automotive products.
- Experience with environmental
and reliability testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using lab
instruments and basic test automation tools.
- Excellent documentation,
analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience testing GNSS, LTE/5G
modules, and wireless connectivity systems.
- Knowledge of failure analysis
techniques and reliability engineering (FMEA, MTBF).
- Understanding of IoT hardware
integration and cloud-connected device testing.
